RiskSolutions, Inc. was founded in 2003, to provide a state-of-the-art Web based database for employers. This database provide accurate and meaningful data points that when put together in report formats gives employers key information data in managing their workers' compensation incidence and costs.
Chief Executive Officer
Ed Taylor is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of RiskSolutions, Inc. He is responsible for overseeing all the assets of the company growth including sales, finance, operations, and research and development.
Mr. Taylor spends the majority of his time working with employers in the safety, workers' compensation and risk management arena. He has been working in the safety industry since the mid-70s. He has successfully developed many programs that have benefited employers through safety process improvement, safety systems, implementation and training programs.
Mr. Taylor has an extensive background in safety and workers' compensation. Mr. Taylor started working in the safety supply to industry. Later he became a consultant to industry in risk management, where he has:-
- helped employers set up their safety and workers' compensation programs
- provided written programs for employers such as hazardous materials handling, respiratory protection, eye protection and the like
- assisted in training of employees.
Chief Operations Officer
Linda Taylor is Chief Operations Officer and co-founder of RiskSolutions, Inc. She is responsible, along with Ed Taylor, for overseeing all the assets of the company growth including sales, finance, operations, and research and development. Ms. Taylor's spends the majority of her time maintaining a close eye on the trends developing in the workers’ compensation industry. In addition, Ms. Taylor spends her time closely reviewing the employer’s loss runs, attending the employer's claims reviews, assisting the employer in claims management, and developing risk management programs.

This database provide accurate and meaningful data points that when put together in report formats gives employers key information data in managing their workers’ compensation incidence and costs.
Ms. Taylor started her career in workers’ compensation in 1979 with U.S. Borax as their Corporate Manager of Workers’ Compensation and Safety. In addition to the valuable experience she obtained at Borax, she was one of the first consultants to industry in the 1980s. She provided employers with safety programs in hearing protection, asbestos removal, confined space entry, and claims management.
During the early 1990s Ms. Taylor noticed the trend for managed care companies to become involved in the medical management of workers’ compensation injuries. She became the Director of Workers’ Compensation and Safety for BPS Healthcare. She was responsible for a very successful pilot program with Fremont Insurance. With her knowledge of workers’ compensation she was able to show managed care companies how to effectively manage, not only medical costs, but disability management as well.
Ms. Taylor was Vice President of Operations for an entrepreneurial venture that combined the latest in information technology with the claims management process. She was responsible for developing the best practices in claims management that was approved by CIGNA, Northbrook, and TIG. The information technology connected the claims adjustor, the medical provider, and the employer on a real-time basis.
Ms. Taylor holds a BA degree in Operations Management, a BS degree in Management Science, and a minor in Information Systems. She also holds an AA in Nursing and is a RN. She is currently obtaining her MBA in Finance.
